Greg came home with this sticker today. He was going though his desk and just happened upon it by coincidence. I can’t help but feel for Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein. He was one of two survivors in last year’s plane crash, the other being Travis Barker. Surviving such a traumatic situation is a difficult thing that some never recover from. I remember seeing TRVSDJAM at the Roxy last year and again at the Wiltern on New Year’s Eve. Both were amazing shows. Adam’s skills are unmatched.
Though I didn’t know him personally, I can tell that he was loved and admired from the amount of respect being paid from those that did. I was really looking forward to seeing him spin again this coming Tuesday at Palms with, what I consider to be, 3 of the most influential and talented DJs ever; MixMaster Mike, DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ AM. My thoughts and blessings go out to those close to him.
Good night sweet prince. You will be missed.
