Got this custom GoodWood piece in last week and I have been dying to post it. First got word of GoodWood from Telli of Ninjasonik, when I asked about his three-finger ring. I liked the whole idea of the custom wood pieces, especially since I’m not a fan of too broke for “iced-out” necklaces.
This is 1 of 1 as of now, but we definitely plan to make a few more for the rest of TBC, hopefully exploring different wood colors and even some ring designs. A few more shots are posted up on Flickr.
here’s my second submission to Lettercult.com‘s Alphabattle:

with some color:

I got a chance to check out the House Industries gallery exhibition at Eames office in Santa Monica. They were debuting the Eames typeface and had some three dimensional examples cut from Eames signature molded plywood. If you dont know about Eames you can check out their site. I was given the full history by a nice woman named Roz at Eames office.

Also on hand was Fresh Pressed doing live screen printing of the new typeface while The Mattson 2 kept things jazzy.

My friend BertolegendaryH was was telling me about the alphabattle going on over at lettercult.com. So I whipped up an “A” (though they are already working on “C”). I’ll try to get on deadline after the next few. Here is my submission so far:

Here is a peek at a logo redesign I’m working on for my father. He runs a 2 way communications business. I tried to “update” his current logo to something more tech related. It still needs some work but i think it is a drastic improvement from the previous logo (which I’m not going to post).

Check out our latest work on the web in our web collection & stay tuned for what’s next!
Here is a step by step of a logo I am working on. As you can see everything starts with pencil and paper. The final stage is far from “finished”. It just represents a more finalized state of the original sketch. For those looking for logos and other type designs feel free to shoot us an email. We do create type from scratch, the way its supposed to be done.

I recently designed a hat for THE WILD ONES for their SEX SELLS line dropping holiday 2009. It was inspired by the classic movie THE WARRIORS and is being released in Los Angeles related colorways. They are available for purchase online HERE.
