The truth is we are in the process of launching thebadcharacter.com 3.0 and we are up to our necks in the Matrix. I promise good things are coming and the wait is almost over. Just started working on a project with DJ Sean Prince. We are redesigning his old site and also doing some logo/branding work for him. For now we designed a splash page as a place holder till the new site launches. Stay tuned for updates on this and other projects we are currently working on. I got a chance to hook up a flyer for our good friend over at ELEXARE in Long Beach. I also did the product photography for the flyer and website. He just opened up and is fully stocked with paint and other art supplies so if you are in the area check him out. click on the flyer to link to his temporary site (full site in the works).

Greg and Daniella recently completed this HTML newsletter for DECKSTAR.  The  structure was built so that the content can be updated and replaced each time a new newsletter is distributed. You can view the full version here.

We are proud to present to you Berto 2.0. 

Berto Legendary H is an independent designer and artist based in Portland, OR. Berto is also a good friend of ours, so seeing this site come to life was amazing. A portfolio site at its core, we also included a blog for continuous updates. The site’s design itself is based around the logo created by Berto, with the front page highlighting featured works. Images on the front page link to a corresponding internal css/javascript based photo gallery. This makes the site completely compatible on mobile devices, since there is no use of flash.

We are very proud of this site and pleased to have it launch in time for Berto’s art show that will be opening tomorrow for artwalk in DTLA.

We recently wrapped up a new site for Pulse Recording and Check Your Pulse Publishing.  They manage some very successful writers and music producers around today.  Bonnie McKee, for example, wrote Katy Perry’s ‘California Gurls’, which was number 1 for six weeks straight.

For the site, they required a custom mp3 player, blog and twitter feed, social networking plugins and newsletter.  The MP3 player was, in my opinion, the most challenging aspect of the site.  It required that a separate playlists loaded based on the page you were viewing.  This challenge was overcome by using conditional php tags.  We are very satisfied with the overall look and functionality of these sites.  Check them out.
