“FEEL ME DON’T KILL ME” – Opening Reception

Saturday, November 13th, 2010

On 11/11, our good friend James Gillette had a solo show “Feel Me Don’t Kill Me” at the Archrival clothing store, located in downtown LA. While I don’t have any photos of the artwork, I encourage you to visit the Archrival store to see the original pieces. And if you just can’t make it, here is a link to see some of the artwork.

More photos from the show are also here

STATE OF THE ART – BTS

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

Greg and I spent most of our free time last week downtown at Andy’s studio, watching the progression of a piece that both Andy and James were collaborating on. The piece was for a show titled “State of the Art” which opened and held at Ek5obition Gallery last weekend at Pomona’s Artwalk. It’s a one of kind experience watching these two ‘work’; Mini electric dirt bikes, night-time LED laden photo shoots, random visits from friends and even a lucha libre show next door all came together to make quite the creative environment. The piece itself is actually 15 different canvas’ that were placed together to create on large canvas.

Be sure to check out the Flickr to see more behind the scene photos and if you were not able to make it out to the show last Saturday, here is a link to Ek5obition’s Flickr that shows the finished product.

We rolled out to Venice on Saturday night for the Rogue Status x SYRV benefit art show. Saw some nice stuff inside and outside of the store. Check out the photos on thebadcharacter flickr.

Thanks to our friends at Rogue Status for taking care of us, as always it was quite a party.

Balls To The Wall

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Got a chance to check out the “Balls To The Wall” show in DTLA last night and was not disappointed. The show features new paintings by my good friend MIDZT, as well as a number of black and white polaroids by KalfLife. Equally impressive was the crowd that turned out for the party/opening. It was good to see so many friends in one spot. For those of you who couldn’t make it out I have posted photos from the night on the TBC flickr.

Here are some gems from the party:
