Got a chance to work with Primitive via our good friend Berto recently. They used a TBC panorama photo of the DTLA skyline for their site and also on a recent tee shirt design.

March 26th & 27th marked the 7th installation of Grenade Games held by Grenade Gloves.   Our buddy James ‘Haunt’ was set to paint live at this event, so we packed our extreme gear and headed up to Big Bear Lakes to join up with guys at Living the Dream. Spent Saturday night watching The Game perform.  Later that night we  got a pizza ordered to our hot tub time machine. #BOSSLIFE The weather on Sunday was perfect, not a cloud in the sky. We had the perfect viewing point for the games and spent the day in the snow. Thanks to everyone that showed us love and support. Great time.

COOK-CMK from Osaka, Japan

I painted an indoor soccer spot the other day with about 15 other people. It was a lot of fun and I was able to chill with people I haven’t seen in awhile. I was a little rusty but I think everything came out cool in the end. Special thanks to Elexare.com for pulling the wall. On 11/11, our good friend James Gillette had a solo show “Feel Me Don’t Kill Me” at the Archrival clothing store, located in downtown LA. While I don’t have any photos of the artwork, I encourage you to visit the Archrival store to see the original pieces. And if you just can’t make it, here is a link to see some of the artwork.

Greg and I spent most of our free time last week downtown at Andy’s studio, watching the progression of a piece that both Andy and James were collaborating on. The piece was for a show titled “State of the Art” which opened and held at Ek5obition Gallery last weekend at Pomona’s Artwalk. It’s a one of kind experience watching these two ‘work’; Mini electric dirt bikes, night-time LED laden photo shoots, random visits from friends and even a lucha libre show next door all came together to make quite the creative environment. The piece itself is actually 15 different canvas’ that were placed together to create on large canvas.

If you frequent the blog then you know we get down with Ninjasonik whenever they’re on the westcoast. This time around they headlined the free/all ages Mad Decent Block party.

I got a call Saturday afternoon from Telli, aka BathroomSexxx, letting me know that they were going to stop by our place before the party to run through their set.  Roofeo, who replaced DJ Teenwolf, was/is currently in France touring with The Deathset. Taking his place for the party was DJ Hoff.

Hoff was the first one to show up to the crib on Saturday with his friend Nick. Nick had a 12-pack of Sierra Nevada. They were more than welcomed.  Rapped with them for a minute before the power couple Billy and Natalia showed up.  Natalia runs a sweet ass blog called Meow for The Hundreds, which is one of Billy’s many skate sponsors.

Minutes later the ninjas show up. Its pretty much a packed house now.

Beers popped. Photos snapped. Set rehearsed. Off to the Mad Decent Block Party.

The block party was located just east of downtown off 6th and Mateo, just across from the Nabisco Lofts.

I made this little wallpaper of  a photo I took just north of downtown on the 110fwy. Jimmy and I were promptly met by 4 Los Angeles sheriffs who schooled us on the safety issues of shooting inside the tunnel. Click on the photo for the fullsize 1920×1280 version.

We have been spending a lot of time at the print house lately. Working, drinking, skating, playing basketball…etc. I uploaded a few photos of our activities to our Flickr. Big thanks to Rudy, Andy Rios, and all the homies at the shop that are making sure our tees are coming out proper.

We are headed to Agenda in Huntington Beach with a few samples of our new shirts. Come find us for a sneak peak.
